Aaron joined Strategic Financial in 2016 and became a founding partner. His work centers on family owned businesses, where the financial plan and the business plan are the same conversation. He helps owners think through succession, retirement income, investments and insurance planning, with a focus on clear answers and no jargon. Aaron is a third generation member of the Sloan family, which founded Sherwood Community Bank in 1902, and he serves on its board. That background gives him a practical view of how small businesses operate and what it takes to keep one going across generations. He is also active in Cass County, including his leadership with the Harrisonville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
